Summer Clinical Attachment Programme 2018

The Summer Clinical Attachment Programme (SCAP) of the Faculty of Medicine, CUHK will be held from 9 to 13 July 2018. This is a very fascinating and popular programme in which the Faculty receives a substantial number of applications and highly positive responses every year.

The 5-day programme of SCAP aims at providing high school students with an opportunity to broaden their perspectives in medical sciences, and to develop a better understanding to our Faculty through interaction with our staff members, students and alumni. In the meantime, high school students have valuable experience and extraordinary journey to studying and living alike medical students in the CUHK through a wide array of interactive and experiential activities.

SCAP is subject to a very stringent selection process and criteria determined by the Selection Panel of the Faculty. There are limited places available. Details of the programme are as follow:
Date: 9 – 13 July 2018
Venue: Prince of Wales Hospital and CUHK Campus, Shatin 
Eligibility: Current secondary school S5 students (or equivalent) whose minimum age of 16 in either local or international schools in the territory in academic year 2017-2018
Selection: Students are shortlisted by a Selection Panel comprising of medical professors from various disciplines. Selection will be made strictly on the merits and potential of each application.
Programme Fee#: Fees for the programme without residence: HK$ 400
Fees for the programme and residence for TWO nights: HK$ 800 
  #Students who have financial needs are eligible to apply for a fee waiver with official supporting documents. 
Enrollment Places: 175
