Overview
The CUHK Bachelor of Pharmacy programme (BPharm) was launched in 1992 as the first pharmacy programme in Hong Kong. The programme’s academic staff are dedicated to challenge students with a high quality, rigorous curriculum in a nurturing environment that values teamwork, leadership, and a commitment to civic responsibility. To date, it has graduated over 700 pharmacists, accounting for about 25% of the pharmacist work force in Hong Kong. 

Programme Characteristics
Knowledge- and practice-based teaching
Integration of western and traditional Chinese medicines
Teaching partnership with future employers, such as Hospital Authority, community pharmacy, multinational pharmaceutical companies, and local pharmaceutical manufacturers
Programme of choice of top students(In English)

Mode of Study
Students must complete four years of full-time study for graduation and one year of internship to be qualified as registered pharmacists. In their final year of study, students will have training in Research or Pharmacy Clerkship.
