The Faculty of Medicine recently hosted the “Change: A New Chapter Begins” alumni gathering on 17 January 2026, marking a milestone for CUHK Medical Centre (CUHKMC). Over 50 medical alumni met Dr. CHUNG Kin Lai, CEO of CUHKMC, and his management team.

Professor Enders NG (MBChB 1989), Associate Dean (Alumni Affairs) of CU Medicine, moderated a town hall-style session, and Professor Philip CHIU, JP (MBChB 1994), Dean of CU Medicine, delivered a warm welcome.

Dr. CHUNG shared his vision and new developments for CUHKMC’s future. Alumni asked about hospital initiatives, and professional growth and shared suggestions for improvement of CUMCHK in the Q&A and feedback session.   Alumni were guided to visit the centre’s facilities in Oncology, Cardiology, Endoscopy, Urology, the Ward, and the Operating Theatre.  

Participants are encouraged to continue engaging directly with CUHKMC management through upcoming events and meetings, fostering ongoing dialogue and strengthening community bonds among the CU Medicine alumni network in the future.
