On 15 November 2025, the CUHK Medical Alumni Association (CUHKMAA) hosted its Annual General Meeting and Dinner, bringing together approximately 40 passionate alumni to celebrate the vibrant spirit of the medical community. The event commenced with a warm welcome from Dr. Shannon CHAN (MBChB 2007), President of CUHKMAA, who shared a comprehensive review of the association’s key activities and initiatives over the past year, emphasizing the importance of strengthening alumni connections. 

The evening’s highlight was an inspiring keynote address by Dr. Joanna PANG (MBChB 1998), Chief Medical Informatics Officer, Information Technology and Health Informatics Division, Hospital Authority Head Office. Dr. PANG’s talk, titled "Smart Hospital and AI in Healthcare," sparked engaging discussions among attendees. 

Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner, providing a perfect setting for reconnecting, exchanging experiences, and building new relationships. The event fostered a warm atmosphere of camaraderie and collaborative dialogue, embodying the ethos of the CUHKMAA community. 

The gathering not only celebrated the milestones of the past year but also set the stage for exciting opportunities ahead, further strengthening the bonds among medical professionals committed to advancing healthcare.
