GPS Curriculum

 

In addition to the core curriculum of MBChB Programme, GPS focuses primarily on medical professional training, offers additional learning opportunities to students with high academic ability and interests in undergoing additional training in medical leadership in research, clinical service, healthcare administration and medical education.

 

GPS Curriculum

  1. Year 1 and Year 2 students are required to enrol in GPS Leadership Series I in the first year of studies in GPS.
  2. Students are required to complete at least one 4 to 6-week GPS Internship by the end of Year 5.

 

*Options of pursuing graduate studies:

 

A =Students may apply for admissions to the one-year full-time Master of Science (MSc) Programme in Research Medicine offered by the Faculty of Medicine if they have completed the first three years of the MBChB Programme and have passed the First Professional Examination. On completion of the Programme, students shall resume the studies for the completion of MBChB and GPS curriculum in the remaining years of studies.
B =Students can opt for pursuing part-time mode, or full-time mode of graduate studies in overseas institutions after graduation.
