Department of Medicine and Therapeutics
The Department of Medicine and Therapeutics teaches medicine across 12 main medical specialties: cardiology, clinical pharmacology, dermatology, endocrinology and diabetes, gastroenterology and hepatology, geriatrics, haematology, infectious diseases, nephrology, neurology, respiratory medicine and rheumatology.
In addition to running Advances in Medicine, an annual meeting attended by over 2,000 medical professionals each year, we operate a network of 19 specialised centres focused on topics like liver health, nutritional studies, pharmacology, dialysis, diabetes, cardiovascular, endoscopy, heart, vascular, ageing, geriatrics, respiratory diseases, stroke research and rheumatology.
