School of Biomedical Sciences |
The School of Biomedical Sciences focuses on the practical application of insights from the life and natural sciences in the aetiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of diseases across disciplines like anatomy, biochemistry, pharmacology and physiology.
Designed to promote translational research, our research programmes are executed from our new cutting-edge laboratories and world-class animal holding facility. Our current interdisciplinary Thematic Research Programs are investigating cancer biology and therapeutics, developmental and regenerative biology, as well as neural, vascular, and metabolic biology.
