In 2016, a group of passionate alumni decided to set up the Medical Alumni Buddy Programme (MABP) with an aim to help students cope with life on the campus. Starting with a dozen of alumni, MABP now expands to a large alumni community with nearly 80 members.

In its 4th year running, the Pre-O Camp Dinner and O Camp Gathering have kickstarted the academic year by hooking up the alumni and students together on 1 and 19 August 2019. The attendance of the O Camp Gathering has hit a record high, with over 400 participants joining. Alumni buddies shared with students their study life in CUHK, and discuss those challenges and learning that they experience in their very own medical journey.
