On 29 July 2025, over 200 CUHK medical students and alumni had the unique opportunity to engage with CUHK medical alumni during the workshop titled ‘How I Find My Desired Post.’
Moderated by Dr. Bonita LAW(MBChB 1992) from Union Hospital’s Breast Centre, the Workshop provided students with valuable insights and practical advice on career readiness from distinguished guest speakers practicing across various medical institutions. Attendees also received information about training programmes and selection criteria to better prepare for their future careers.
Dr. SIN Ngai Chuen (MBChB 1994), Hospital Chief Executive at Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital & Tai Po Hospital, shared insights on interview requirements and current post situations.
Dr. SO Wing Yee (MBChB 1992), Hospital Chief Executive at North District Hospital, offered advice on CV writing and interview preparation.
The Workshop allowed students to gain firsthand experiences from doctors in some of the most sought-after training specialties, including Paediatrics, Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT), Anaesthesia, and Psychiatry.
