Five GPS students Receives Innovation and Technology Scholarship 2020

Five GPS students are awarded the Innovation and Technology Scholarship 2020. The awardees are LAM Gigi (Year 5), LEUNG Hei Long (Year 5), TING Lung Ngai (Year 3), WONG Chun (Year 5) and WONG Hoi Wing (Year 4). A total of 25 outstanding undergraduates were selected from a pool of 163 candidates this year.

Innovation and Technology Scholarship Award Scheme is one of the most prestigious awards that offers outstanding undergraduates the opportunities to widen international exposure, gain industry experience, and nurture their passion for science and technology.

 

The Scholarship offers 25 local undergraduates in science, engineering and health disciplines each a scholarship up to $150,000 every year for a series of elite training opportunities through overseas/ Mainland attachment programmes, mentorship schemes, local internships and service projects. 17% of all the scholarship awardees in the last 6 years were GPS students.
