Meeting new GPS students

GPS Information Session 2014

A warm welcome was sent to new GPS students who have just finished their public exams with outstanding results. During the session, Prof. Justin Wu, Director of GPS; Prof. Simon Ng, Assistant Dean of Learning Experience; and Prof. Winnie Chu, Professor of Department of Imaging and Interventional Radiology shared the highlights of GPS programme. Several senior GPS students have also prepared their brilliant achievements in GPS to share with the new GPS fellows.

Stand TALL Earthquake Patients Sharing Session

It has been six years since the 512 Sichuan Earthquake in 2008. Many victims have gradually recovered from their pain mentally and physically. With warm welcome from Prof. Joseph Sung, Vice-Chancellor of CUHK and GPS students, four young amputees of the Stand TALL project were invited to a sharing session and interact with students and Faculty members. Through this life impacting life experience, students were inspired by the patients' optimism in returning to normal daily life and we hope to nurture students with a caring heart as future physician leaders.
