Abstract

Prostate cancer is the third most common and the fourth most fatal cancer for male in Hong Kong.
 

Researchers from the CU Medicine and Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) have jointly developed the Spermine Risk Score which, coupled with the use of a urine test, proves to be a non-invasive and more reliable method for the diagnosis of prostate cancer. The findings have been published in the scientific journal Prostate Cancer and Prostatic Diseases.
