Debuted in 2001, the Fun Run is an annual running event jointly organised by Chung Chi College and Faculty of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, with the aims of promoting a healthy lifestyle and serving as a platform for our staff, students and alumni to have a fun time together.

During the period of 2017 and 2019, the Run offered two routes for Explorers (5 km) and Challengers (10 km) starting from Prince of Wales Hospital, the teaching hospital of the Faculty and ending at Lingnan Stadium, Chung Chi College in the University. This event is open to staff, students and alumni from both Faculty and College where more than 500 participants annually joined together for a morning of socialising, healthy and competitive fun.

In 2021, the Fun Run transformed into a virtual event under the pandemic. Nearly 350 successful runners, including staff, students and alumni from both Faculty and College completed the 10 km run within the specified period. Let’s keep running and stay healthy under this unprecedented time.
