Professor Claire Stewart,  Dean and Head of School of Medicine; and Professor Claire Sharpe,  Dean of Education, Professor of Renal Medicine and Medical Education, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences from The University of Nottingham visited CU Medicine to explore future collaborations in healthcare teaching and research; as well as to exchange ideas on simulation in healthcare education.

Representatives from CUHK included Professor Philip Chiu (Dean, Faculty of Medicine), Professor Francis Chan (Choh-Ming Li Professor of Medicine and Therapeutics, Director of Gut Microbiota Research), Professor Dennis Lo (Associate Dean - Research), Professor Samuel Wong, (Associate Dean - Education) and Dr Victor Sim (Director of Kai Chong Tong Clinical Skills Learning Centre).

After the introduction of the medical schools by the deans, Dr Sim shared the simulations that CU Medicine is applying on healthcare education in CU Medicine.  Professor Stewart and Professor Sharpe were also shown to various teaching facilities including simulation ward, teaching labs, practice rooms and dissecting lab.

Professor Chiu has given a hand-painted fan-drawing to the Nottingham delegates as a very meaningful gift.
