Owing to the high heterogeneity in epidemiological trends of kidney cancer across different regions, a comprehensive study on the global incidence and mortality of this disease is of vital importance. This is the most up-to-date study using data collected from cancer registries which covered more than one million cancer cases. Result showed that there was an increasing trend for kidney cancer incidence especially in European countries, and the increasing incidence was very prominent in the young population.
