Hypertension remains a public health challenge which imposes a massive burden on medical resources; and the control rate of it is still unsatisfactory given the availability of standard treatment protocol. This review discussed AI applications for hypertension management and incidence prediction. The AI advancements have been proved in BP measurement, prognostic, and prediction tools, with promising result. However, more improvements and clinical studies should be made before the official launch of AI applications for clinical practices.
