Familial aggregation and staging pathology of REM sleep behavior disorder

The study “A case‐control‐family study of idiopathic rapid eye movement sleep behavior disorder” suggests a familial aggregation and staging pathology of alpha‐synucleinopathy for relatives of patients with idiopathic rapid eye movement sleep behavior disorder, ranging from isolated features to full‐blown sleep disorder (Ann Neurol. 2019 Feb 13. doi: 10.1002/ana.25435. [Epub ahead of print]).
