中大醫學院就行政長官今日(10月19日)發表2022施政報告的回應 (Chinese Version Only)

中大醫學院歡迎《施政報告》中提出多項支持香港創科發展及提升醫療系統水平及人手的政策措施。

 

香港有一流的大學、世界級的科研人才,絕對有科研實力提升香港成為全球頂尖的創新科技中心。這不單可帶動本地未來經濟發展,更可以將香港的科研成果輸出香港以外的地方,造福大灣區、全國、以至世界各地的人民。

 

《施政報告》提及政府將投放大量資源鼓勵創科的發展,當中設立100億元「產學研1+計劃」,資助有潛質成為初創企業的大學科研團隊把科研成果商品化,這將為院校的科研團隊提供至關重要的財政支持,讓我們可以把研究成果由實驗室落實到臨床應用,真正地造福廣大市民和病患。

 

此外《施政報告》亦指政府將推出多項措施吸引全球人才到本港,這為我們締造有利的環境聘請世界頂尖的醫學科研人才,不但可壯大我們的科研實力,亦同時提升我們的醫學教育質素,開拓我們醫學院學生的國際視野,對醫學院未來發展影響深遠。

 

我們亦樂見《施政報告》推出政策提升未來醫療體系的整體人手和質素,包括額外資助1700名學生修讀護士訓練課程、加強中醫藥在公共醫療體系的角色及中西醫協作,並推動中醫藥專業人員的專業發展。這些措施對吸引更多有志者入讀相關課程意義重大。

 

中大醫學院院長陳家亮教授表示:「我們樂見最新的施政報告有多項措施促進香港的創科發展。事實上香港有雄厚的科研實力,這裡有世界頂尖的科學家,位列全球前沿的醫學院,多項研究成果已改變世界的臨床指引和在多國使用。我們期望施政報告的政策和措施早日落實,進一步鞏固及發揮香港的創科優勢,將香港打造成全球一流的創科中心,讓香港的醫療創科產業成為經濟增長的強大動力,並將我們的醫學科研成果落實地惠及全球人類。」
